Euro Karting Endurance Challenge is a Karting endurance championship organized in different countries of Europe. The challenge consist of 5 races, each race with a duration of 360 minutes (6 hours). Karting Endurance teams all around Europe can participate by composing a team of at least 3 drivers.
E1 CHALLENGE is planned to minimize the initial investments and the logistic expenses of the teams and to maximize the racing and driving pleasure. In E1 CHALLENGE, the karts, the engines, the mechanical service is given bu the organization. The equipments are also stored and transported by the organization. So as a result, the teams and drivers don’t have to think about the investments for purchasing the kart and the engine, their storage and transportation and the basic technical assistance. Most of the engine set ups are fixed (same for all) so the driving abilities become the most important factor in the Challenge. The drivers can travel easily with their helmets and overalls in their bags and get ready for the big event.
E1 CHALLENGE’s main technical partners are Rotax and Mach1 Kart. Teams will drive a brand new Mach1 FIA5 chassis (CIK homologated) and a Rotax 125 Junior Max Evo engine. (2 stroke engine with a 23 hp) Dunlop tires will be used thouroughout the Challenge and all karts will be equipped with a MyChron5 timing system. The mechanical service will be handled by Mach1 Motorsports team. Mach1 Motorsports team will prepare the karts prior to the race and mechanical assistance will be given by them during the events. The karts and the equipments will be stored and carried by the organization. Spare parts for the chassis and the engine will be ready at the tracks at the team’s disposal in case of damage.
